The Year of Change

A new state tourism director. New tourism division staff (and new roles for some of our veteran staff). A new marketing agency. A new tourism campaign. And now we are finishing up the end of our fiscal year with some changeups to our industry communications. We have collected input from industry members on how they would like to receive communications from our office, and we are implementing some of these suggestions in conjunction with our new campaign.

You may have noticed that what started off as a weekly COVID-19 newsletter has now morphed into a regular, weekly quick-read update on the tourism industry. We will continue these weekly touch-base emails (we're workshopping some names now) in the future. You will also find information on both our virtual huddles and our webinar partnership with E-Learning U in these weekly updates.

We will continue to release our monthly Travel Talk newsletter (like this one) the last Wednesday of the month. These Travel Talks will highlight the upcoming month and will feature longer-form stories, important dates, links you need to see and much more.

The Kansas Tourism Division staff members are excited to continue growing our collaborations with you, our valued industry partners. You are the folks who make our state great, and we will continue to provide you with valuable information and a little inspiration along the way.

To the stars, friends!
