Adam Roorbach
Director of Sports Tourism
Cell:  785-221-1884

Hello! My name is Adam Roorbach and I officially began working as the Director of Sports Tourism on January 1st.  Having been working in the Department of Commerce since 2014 as the Executive Director of the Kansas Athletic Commission, my role in the department evolved into not just attracting combat sports to our great state, but other sporting events as well. Officially moving my role to Tourism will allow me to work more directly with our excellent local partners to keep bringing national level events to Kansas.  Our location and excellent facilities are very attractive with the booming Sports Tourism industry and working with SportsKS in helping raise the state’s profile within the industry will lead to great things for our state!
