Meet our newest staff member!

Hi Everyone! I’m Babette Dixon, the new Kansas Tourism Research and Contract Manager. I just started my role with Tourism on Monday, August 7th so I am learning so much every day.  My role here includes overseeing and compiling all the tourism research and data we have to enhance our marketing efforts and reporting. I will also be managing the Tourism Divisions vendor and partner contracts and agreements.

I am a Kansas native, I have a tourism background on the east and west coasts. My most recent career experience include being a Contract Manager for a different state agency.  Prior to that, I was a Fairgrounds Manager in western Kansas. I’m looking forward to working with you all and helping promote Kansas Tourism!
