SUNFLOWER STATE OF MIND!

Sunflowers are a HUGE attraction in our wonderful state, after all it is our state flower! We have put together a page on our TravelKS.com website, that answers many questions about the state flower, as well as a list of all the farms that have public sunflower fields to visit and enjoy! If you have planted or plan on planting a sunflower field or are having any sunflower themed events and are not currently listed on our page, please let me know and we will get them added to the webpage! SUMMER TRAVEL

Travel season is in full swing, and you may be seeing a spike in the number of travelers looking for fun things to do throughout Kansas! Make sure to have plenty of our 2023 Kansas Travel Guides on hand. These guides are perfect to provide at events, meetings and tours. We will ship them to you for free. If you are not sure how to order, reach out to Jaimee.Salalac@ks.gov and we will get you set up.

You're invited to shop all things Kansas. From the Land of Kansas, members will be sampling and selling their products at Liquid Art Winery. Enjoy local food, delicious wine, and Kansas products.

SUNFLOWER SUMMER APP

Does your agritourism location offer an educational experience? If so, you might be eligible to be one of the businesses featured on the Sunflower Summer App! Sunflower Summer provides a wide variety of ways for families to get out, explore something new, and enjoy time together. Kansas families with children (grades Pre-K through 12) can visit museums, zoos, historic landmarks and more for free! To learn more about the App visit below! Our events page is one of the most visited pages on our website and we want to make sure it is full of fun and exciting events that are happening all around the state!
