Harvest Happenings

As October has seemly come and gone, I can't help but to think of the successes of Kansas Agritourism during one of our busiest seasons. From many new attractions at fall festivals to the gathering of guests for harvest consumptions and fine wine. I'm so glad I had the pleasure of seeing some of you while Kansas Tourism staff delivered marketing grants across the state in early October and during the Kansas Tourism Conference in Wichita just a couple weeks ago. As the month comes to a close on a perfect fall day and black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam, may luck be yours on Halloween!

Congratulations!

Earlier this month Kansas Tourism embarked on a 1,200-mile road trip around the state to deliver giant checks to Marketing Grant Awardees! I am excited to share 3 of the 15 businesses awarded grant funding, were agritourism locations! Help me to congratulate Tanganyika Wildlife Park, Fulton Valley Farms & Wahlmeier Farms Vineyard.

The next available Marketing Grant will open in the Fall of 2023! For more information on grants available through our office click below.
