In Memory Of Kevin Fern

This week, Kansas Tourism lost one of our industry members.  Kevin Fern, recently retired Executive Director of Visit Shawnee, lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, Dec 11.  Kevin was an long-time advocate for the tourism industry at a local, state and federal level and a friend to many in the industry.  He was currently serving as the chairman of the Governor’s Council on Travel and Tourism and was recently announced as one of the Governor’s Tourism awardees at our 2022 Kansas Tourism Conference.  Our thoughts are with his family and friends as they grieve this loss.  You can view his obituary here.
