It's Not Goodbye...It's See You Later! This week, Kansas Tourism said goodbye to our summer intern, Tyler Cunningham. Tyler is returning to Pittsburg State University and working on obtaining his Strategic Communication degree. Tyler grew up alongside his family’s bed and breakfast operation, Cedar Crest Lodge in Pleasanton, where he discovered his interest in public relations and business management. You can likely find him playing pool with friends on the weekends. We asked Tyler what was his favorite part of interning with Kansas Tourism. Tyler said that, besides the people, it was that he was able to act as the Swiss army knife and had the opportunity to work on a range of different projects. He thought it was pretty cool how much he was able to learn about the state of Kansas. He said that he has lived in Kansas his entire life and had no idea about some of the attractions in the state. We wish Tyler the best for his continued education at Pitt State, and his future exploring and promoting of Kansas.
Mark your calendars now for the next Kansas Tourism Industry Huddle - Wednesday, September 14 at 1PM.
