Website Update

We have added new subcategories for website listings.  Please make sure to log in to the Extranet to update your information! If you need access please contact Kelli Hilliard.

Heads-up...you may get an email and/or phone call from a company called “DTN - Destination Travel Network” in the coming days or weeks. DTN is a digital partner who works with us to produce and publish paid content on TravelKS.com that helps move our website visitors to become customers for you. Here are some details about the program.

Kansas Tourism Regions

We encourage you to become a member of your local tourism marketing region.

Learn more about the regions →

  • Travel Inspiration 101: Show, Don't Tell - The US Travel Association has the right idea: "Let's Go There." We agree! Instead of just talking about why we should travel, we encourage destinations to show future visitors why they should specifically go there, or anywhere for that matter!

  • Fall COVID-19 & Travel Sentiment Study - According to the most recent Longwoods International tracking study of American travelers, half of them feel safe to travel this fall season.  And two thirds of those who plan to travel will be visiting friends and relatives, while 58% plan on a road trip somewhere in the U.S.    Outdoor activities are preferred during pandemic travels, such as visiting national and state parks, fall foliage tours, hiking and biking.
