Kansas Tourism Industry members,
Coronavirus (CoVID-19) is a topic on the mind of many travelers right now, including those who visit our great state. I assure you that Kansas Tourism is monitoring the COVIC-19 situation and will provide important updates as this evolves.
Here are a couple key points to keep in mind
- Federal public health officials have issued NO warning or restrictions on travel in the US.
- The travel industry’s guiding principle is to seek and heed the most up-to-date expert guidance, and we urge the traveling public to do the same. Always encourage visitors to practice healthy travel habits.
Below are links to relevant travel industry sites that we encourage you to check often for updates. Some of these include talking points for media and visitors.
If your community experiences lost business or cancellations due to Coronavirus, please share that information with me to assist in our monitoring of the effects on travel. Feel free to reach out to me if you have questions
